Description

Nos. 19 and 21, Howick Street, are part of the wider Howick Street development that began after 1831. They are two storeys high, with two windows each, and No. 19 is built on a slightly raised terrace. The buildings are constructed of ashlar stone, featuring a moulded eaves cornice. They have slate roofs with coped verges and two brick chimneys. No. 19 has modern casement windows with moulded architraves and end blocks to the sills. No. 21 has glazing bar sash windows set within raised surrounds. A six-panel door is located to the right of each entrance; the doorway of No. 19 has a segmental arch flanked by pilasters and a moulded lintel.
