Description

Nos. 2 and 3 Long Street are a late 18th-century front to an older building, forming a group with Greystone House on the High Street. No. 2 has a pebbledashed exterior, while No. 3 is cement rendered. Both have gable-end tiled roofs; part of No. 2's roof was formerly tiled with stone. The buildings are two storeys high with four windows on the first floor. These windows are sash windows, with the outer windows being four panes wide and the inner two featuring altered glazing. The ground floor of No. 2 has a large yard entry to the left and two windows with later glazing bars. A central door composed of six moulded panels is set within an architrave surround, topped with a flat hood supported by double scroll brackets. No. 3 has one window and a door consisting of six panels, four of which have leaded glazing, with a similar hood to that of No. 2. A cellar grille is present, featuring a flat arch and a vermiculated keystone.
