Description
Number 19 on St John's Street is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall. It is constructed from Bath stone and is set on a raised plinth, continuing the architectural style of the block that includes Nos 51 and 52 Long Street. The upper floors feature three windows. On the ground floor, from the left, there is a shop window that is seven panes wide and four panes high, framed with panelled pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. Next to the shop window is a six-panel flush door in a plain stone surround, topped with a flat moulded hood supported by wrought iron scroll brackets. There are also two windows on the ground floor, one of which has been altered in the early 19th century. Numbers 19 to 22 are part of a group of buildings.
