Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century building, part of a group including Nos. 1 and 2 St John’s Churchyard and Tower Lee, St John’s Walk, and the Liberal Club. It is a one-and-a-half-story building constructed of ashlar stone, set on a projecting plinth. The building is topped with a crenellated parapet above a moulded string course, and has a modern pantile roof. A four-light dormer window is located to the left, with a modern dormer to the right. On the ground floor, a two-light casement window with leaded glass, pointed arch, panelled spandrels, and a drip mould is on the left. A four-centred arched doorway, flanked by a ledged door with cover fillets and a drip mould, is located to the left of centre. To the right is a recessed sash window with four panes, also with a drip mould.
