Description

The wellhouse, likely from the 18th century, is located in the garden 30 metres south-west of Font House in Netherwitton. It is constructed of squared stone with dressings. There are four steps leading down into a rectangular walled enclosure that features a wellhead on the west side. The wellhouse includes a small slab-roofed structure with a round-arched opening. A stream flows out through a separate small hole on the left, draining into the enclosure floor.
