Description

Netherwitton Bridge, which spans the River Font, was built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed from squared stone with decorative dressings. The bridge features two segmental arches, which are made with rusticated, tooled-and-margined voussoirs. It has triangular cutwaters and a raised, chamfered impost band, along with a chamfered band below the parapet. The parapets have gabled coping and flare out at the ends to square piers topped with pyramidal caps.
