Description
The wall on the south side of the walled garden at North-West Netherwitton Hall dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed of brick and stone, standing 4 meters high, and features a flat stone coping. The wall runs west from the rear of the Coachman's House. The south face is made of brick and has been heightened, while the north face is composed of coursed rubble. Near the east end, there is a boarded door set in an architrave, and a second similar door is located further west within a raised and chamfered stone surround. The wall extends to an angle to the west of the second doorway.
