Description

The Netherwitton Village Cross, located in the garden of Font House, is a village cross dated 1698. It is made of stone and features a square base with bevelled upper angles that supports a shaft and head, standing 2 metres high and carved from a single block. The angles are chamfered, and the date is incised on the east side of the head. The cross is not in its original location.
