NETHERWITTON NETHERWITTON NZ 1090 17/135 Netherwitton Farmhouse GV II House and cottage, now single dwelling. House perhaps early C18, cottage mid- C18, altered C19. House rubble with dressings, cottage coursed stone with dressings; slate roofs. House 3 storeys, 3 bays, symmetrical. 6-panel door has margined overlight with C19 coloured glazing, in raised alternating-block surround, flanked by late C19 sash windows; lst floor altered sliding sashes, all with slightly projecting sills. lst floor windows on right and in right return, have decorative guards. To left, cottage, 1 1/2 storeys, 2 bays. Renewed door has margined overlight with C19 coloured glazing, in chamfered surround; to left altered sash window. 2 gabled dormers with casements and decorative bargeboards.
