Description
The obelisk at Darlington Memorial Hospital is a war memorial erected around 1920. It is constructed of ashlar and features a plain obelisk with a stepped pyramidal cap and a square base. The obelisk is set on an octagonal plinth that has steps on two sides. On the front face of the obelisk, there is a bronze wreath. The memorial inscription and the names of the deceased are located in the nearby Memorial Hall.
