Description

The war memorial in Myrtle Park, Bingley, was built around 1922, a time when many similar memorials were constructed. It is made of ashlar stone and features an octagonal base adorned with carved panels that display the names of those who fell in service. Atop the base is a tapering octagonal cross, which has carved spears on each face, and the cross itself is open and intricately carved.
