Description

The Stocks at the Old Market Hall are likely from the 18th century and are made of ashlar with wooden rails. They consist of square piers with a stone base, positioned between a supporting wooden keeper that has four holes for hands and feet. The stocks were re-erected at their current location around 1984. For further context, see the listing for the Old Market Hall.
