Description

The band stand, likely built in the late 19th century, is located in Myrtle Park, Bingley. It features a hammer-dressed stone plinth and a wooden roof covered with Westmorland green slates. The structure is octagonal in shape, with the roof supported by slender cast-iron columns that have vase-shaped balusters at the base and Ionic capitals. Delicate wrought-iron bands and spandrels enhance its design, and a central wrought-iron finial crowns the roof.
