Description

The war memorial in Hotham, dating from around 1920, is constructed of ashlar stone. It features an obelisk mounted on a tapering square base, reaching a total height of approximately 5 metres. The base has a nearly illegible inscription that reads, "This memorial was erected by the inhabitants of Hotham to the glorious memory of those men who served and fell in the Great War 1914-18," surrounded by a relief wreath. The obelisk above displays the names of those who served and fell.
