Description
No. 30 on Main Street is a house that likely dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century, with some later alterations and additions. It is constructed of colour-washed rubble and has a pantile roof. The house features a three-cell lobby entry and is a single storey. The entrance has a six-fielded-panel door with an overlight, flanked by two 16-pane sash windows on the left and one on the right. There is a rounded corner to the right, and the gable ends are raised and tumbled. A ridge stack is present on the roof. There are 20th-century additions to the rear that are not considered of special interest. Inside, the house is said to contain an inglenook fireplace and exposed cross beams.
