Description

Foxglove Cottage is a house that likely dates back to the 17th century. It is constructed of whitewashed rubble and has a Roman tile roof. Originally designed as a three-cell lobby entry, the layout has been altered to allow for a direct entry, with the left cell having been demolished. The cottage is single storey with an attic. There is a half-glazed door on the left and a boarded door on the right, which is flanked by a 16-pane sash window and a casement window. The attic features a raking dormer with a 4-pane sash window, and there is a ridge stack on the roof.
