Description

Lawn Cottage is a house from the early 19th century, constructed of rendered stone with a Welsh slate roof. It features a central hearth-passage entry and is two storeys high with two bays. The entrance has a six-fielded-panel door with a divided overlight, set back in a pilastered doorcase, and is flanked by 20-pane sash windows. On the first floor, there are full-height sashes with glazing bars that rest on a continuous sill. The house has a ridge stack.
