Description

Rectory Farmhouse is a house dating from around 1800, although it has earlier origins. It is constructed of rubble with brick used for raising the eaves and features a pantile roof. The building has a square plan with an off-centre hallway entry. It stands two storeys high and consists of three bays. The entrance has a 20th-century part-glazed door set within a 19th-century pilastered doorcase that includes a dentilled entablature. Throughout the house, there are 4-pane sash windows located beneath segmental arches. There is evidence of the eaves being raised, and the roof is hipped with end stacks.
