Description
No. 3 Front Street is a house, likely built around 1700. It features colourwashed rough render with painted ashlar dressings. The roof has been renewed with pantiles at the front and asbestos tiles at the rear, and it is finished with stone gable copings and brick chimneys on rendered plinths. The house is two storeys high and has three bays, with the left bay being wider. There is a boarded door set in an architrave to the left of the second bay, alongside a wide three-light 20th-century window with a similar architrave to the left of the door. The other bays contain sash windows with fine glazing bars. The steeply-pitched roof has swept eaves, and the chimney plinths are battered, with the right one being larger and featuring a new brick stack.
