Description

This milestone, dating from the 18th century, is located 30 metres south-east of Thorpe Grange Farmhouse. It is made of cut sandstone and is painted white with black letters. The milestone has a triangular plan and features an incised and painted legend that reads "Catterick-bridge 13/Greata-bridge 1". It stands 0.65 metres tall.
