Description

This 18th-century milestone is located 80 metres west of the entrance to Tutta Beck Farm, along the A66 road in Rokeby. It is made of cut sandstone and has been painted white with black letters. The milestone has a triangular shape and features an incised and painted legend that reads "Greata Bridge 1¼ Bowes 4¼." It stands 0.40 metres tall.
