Description

This is a milestone located on the verge outside Foresters Hall in Middleton Tyas. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of ashlar stone. The milestone has a triangular shape, with the inscription "Catterick Bridge 3" on the left side and "Greata Bridge 9" on the right side. It was previously located 70 meters to the northeast.
