Description
This is a milestone located in Horderley, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of painted limestone and measures approximately 1 meter high and 0.7 meters wide. The milestone features a segmental head and is inscribed with the distances: "MILES / B. CASTLE 7. / C. ARMS 2 3/4". It also has a benchmark and has been reset following roadworks.
