Description
This milestone, located on the north side of Clun Road in Hopesay, dates from the mid-19th century. It is made of white painted limestone with a black base and lettering. The milestone features a rounded, ledged top and is inscribed with the word "MILES" at the top, along with the distances to B. Castle (9 miles), Clun (5¾ miles), and C. Arms (3 miles).
