Description

This is a milestone located in Clunbury, dating from the mid-19th century. It is made of white painted limestone with a black base and lettering. The top of the milestone is rounded and ledged. It is inscribed with the word "MILES" radially at the top, and it indicates the distances to Clun (3¾ miles) and C. Arms (5 miles).
