Description
This is a milestone dating from the mid-to-late 19th century. It is made of white painted stone with a black base and black lettering. The milestone has a rounded top and features the word "MILES" at the top in a radial arrangement, along with the distances to B. Castle (8 miles), Clun (2 miles), and Knightons. At the time of the last survey in October 1984, the milestone was tilted and partly buried. It is part of a complete series of milestones.
