Description
Jasmine Cottage is a late 18th-century house located in Cheney Longville, Wistanstow. The building is constructed of stone rubble, which is whitewashed on the front, and features a 20th-century plain tile roof with brick end stacks, the one on the right being from the 20th century.
The cottage is two storeys high and has a three-window range. The central window is a two-light casement, flanked by three-light casements on either side. The central entrance features a plank door, which is sheltered by a stone flat hood supported by iron brackets. To the right of the entrance is another two-light casement, while the far left and right have three-light casements.
On the left side of the building, there is a stone rubble buttress stack with an eroded tablet, above which is a 19th-century lean-to. At the rear of the cottage, there are two-light casements. The interior has not been inspected.
