Description

Galsworthy House is a mid-18th century house with an attached outbuilding, altered in the late 19th century. The house is constructed of ashlar and rubble with a pantile roof. It has two storeys and a three-bay front. The house features quoins and a central open wooden porch with a four-panel door and overlight. Sash windows are present, with plate-glass lower sashes and smaller four-pane upper lights, and canted bays on the ground floor. Shaped kneelers, ashlar coping to the left end, and a raised verge are also visible. Brick end stacks are present. To the right of the house is a lower outbuilding constructed of rubble, with a small shuttered opening on each floor.
