Description

The Hill is a pair of houses dating from the early 18th century, constructed from rubble with a pantile roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. It features brick quoins on the first floor to the left. Between the first and second bays, there is a 20th-century part-glazed door, and to its right, a blocked quoined doorway. Between the second and third bays, there is a board door set in a slightly-chamfered ashlar surround. The ground floor of the first and second bays has 20th-century casement windows with brick flat arches above, while the first bay also has a side-sliding sash window below an old brick flat arch. The third bay has a side-sliding sash window on the ground floor and the second and third bays have side-sliding sash windows on the first floor, all below old brick flat arches. The eaves are dentilled and stepped, with raised verges that have been rebuilt on the left side. There are brick stacks at both ends and between the second and third bays. The left return features a brick gable.
