Description
The Square is a range of farm buildings located to the rear of Number 5, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The buildings are constructed of rubble with cut dressings and feature a graduated Lakeland slate roof, with stone slates at the eaves. The structure is two storeys high and consists of four bays. On the ground floor, there is a stable door and three six-pane casement windows. An external stone stair leads to a boarded loft door, and there are three part-slatted windows on the first floor. The roof is hip-ended, and the rear of the building has four part-slatted windows on the first floor. This building is included for its group value.
