Description
The building consists of a coach house, now used as a garage, and an attached boundary wall located to the west and north of the church of St. Mary the Less. It is likely from the 18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The boundary wall is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a flat stone coping. The coach house is rendered and has a pantiled roof, which is accented by four rows of stone slates at the eaves. The high wall runs along the west and north boundaries of the churchyard and continues along the street front to the rear of No. 4 The College. The coach house itself is two storeys tall, consisting of one bay with boarded garage doors and a 2-light casement window that slightly breaks the eaves, all beneath a raking roof. There is a brick chimney at the left end.
