Description

Milestone located approximately 470 metres east of Folly Head, likely dating from the early 19th century. It is made of painted ashlar and features a square tooled block about half a metre high, topped with a low domed pyramid. The milestone is set diagonally to the road, with tooled frames surrounding the inscriptions "EDGE 41/2" on the west side and "MIDN 5" on the east side.
