Description

Milestone located at SW693305, dating from around the mid 19th century. It is made of painted dressed granite and features a pyramidal head. The shaft is triangular in shape and sits on a square base. Two sides of the milestone are inscribed, with large pyramid stops at the base. The left side has the inscription: "HELSTON 3 PENZANCE 16," while the right side reads: "FALMOUTH 9 TRURO 18¾."
