Milestone. Circa mid C19. Painted dressed granite monolith. Triangular-on-plan shaft over a rectangular-on-plan base. two rectangular sides of the shaft face the road obliquely and rise from large pyramidal stops. Each of these sides has incised lettering and Arabic numerals. Pyramidal head. Left-hand side inscription : PENZANCE 6 MILES LANDS END 16 Right-hand side inscription : HAYLE 2 MILES CAMBORNE 6 REDRUTH 11 TRURO 20
