Description
This boundary stone, located at the junction with B6278, is likely from the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is made of sandstone ashlar and stands approximately 0.8 metres high, with a square cross-section. The west face features the inscription "Eggleston Township," while the east face displays an Ordnance Survey bench mark. The top of the stone is significantly damaged, and there is an Ordnance Survey iron stud inserted at the top of the east face.
