WACKERFIELD B 6279 NZ 12 SW (East side) 9/218 Milestone approximately 4 metres south- east of Spinkford Bridge

GV II

Milestone. Probably mid C18. Painted sandstone ashlar. Square-section block, about 1/3 metre high, with black painted 'D10' on tooled side facing road, and 'S1' painted on south, for Darlington and Staindrop. Incised 'Darlington 10' on north and'Staindrop 1' on east faces are painted white as is stone.
