Description
The gate piers and walls, which were formerly the south entrance to Low Keverstone, date from the late 18th century. They are constructed from sandstone ashlar and feature a castellated style with herringbone tooling. The structure includes two tall square piers with plinths that have a widely-moulded string course beneath the embattled coping. On either side of the piers, there are stepped curved walls that also have plinths and chamfered coping, ending in a short return that runs parallel to the road. The entrance route has since changed.
