Description

This is a mid-18th century house located in Pimllico, Durham and Framwellgate. The exterior is painted rough render with painted ashlar dressings and a smooth rendered plinth. The roof is covered in Welsh slate with roll-moulded yellow ridge tiles. The house is two storeys high with three windows. The central entrance features a 6-panelled door within a keyed stone surround. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, and the ground floor windows have louvred external shutters. All windows have flat stone lintels and projecting stone sills. Brick chimneys are positioned at each end of the building. A boot scraper recess is located beside the front door.
