This is a small, two-story house dating from the mid-19th century. The exterior is faced with stucco and has a hipped, slate roof. The right-hand side features a raised doorway with an original doorcase comprising a reeded architrave and decorative paterae. The doorway contains a three-panelled door beneath a simple, semi-circular fanlight. There are two four-pane sash windows with margin panes on the first floor, and a matching sash window on the ground floor. To the rear, on Alma Street, is a lower, gabled section with a brick gable stack and modern windows.
