Description
120 Lower Dock Street is a commercial building constructed in pressed red brick, designed in the Northern European Renaissance style. Although the glazing has been modernised, it still respects the moulded tracery in the window heads. The main elevation features three bays, with a central stepped gable and a round-headed window. Below this, there are three similar windows above a camber-arched vehicular entrance, which has doors with diagonal boarding. On either side at the first floor level, there are two windows, while the ground floor showcases broad single windows with tracery heads. To the left, there is a three-storey tower topped with a hipped roof, featuring paired round-arched windows on the first and second floors. The ground floor of the tower includes a similar window to the left and a doorway with a stone surround set within a trefoil head.
