Description
The Willow Cottage is a small house dating from the 1820s. It is constructed of stuccoed rubble and features a low-pitched slate hipped roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, which are almost symmetrical. On the ground floor, there are two sash windows without horns, each with eight panes, flanking the central original panelled door. This door has a torus band in the lock rail and nail head mouldings above it. There is a blind fanlight situated under a three-centred arch. A 20th-century glazed porch encloses the doorway, although it is somewhat oversized for the elevation. A moulded band at the first-floor level separates the corner pilasters, which are decorated with incised scroll and key patterns. The first floor has three sash windows without horns, each also with eight panes. The interior has not been inspected.
