Description

This is a two-storey, double-fronted house, likely dating from the 18th century. The front is faced with painted stucco, arranged to resemble ashlar blocks, with brick end stacks, the one on the right being rendered. The upper floor has two small four-pane sash windows, with heads at eaves level. The ground floor features a four-pane sash window to the left of the central doorway, and a larger four-pane sash window with narrow lateral glazing bars to the right. A 20th-century part-glazed boarded door is set into a surround incorporating a moulded keystone, approached by two rendered steps. All openings are framed by plain stucco surrounds, the lower ones having eared details. A raised plinth is visible. The rear roof slopes low over an outshut containing three small 20th-century casement windows and a boarded rear door. The right gable end, built of stone rubble, has a nine-pane sash window in the upper storey.
