Description
35 Monnow Street is a three-storey building with a rendered and painted brick front, and its roof is hidden from view from the street. It has a double depth plan and features three windows. The shopfront is simple, made of timber, with the entrance on the left through a panelled door. There is a three-light display window with slim timber mullions, flanked by panelled pilasters and topped with a plain fascia. The windows on the upper floors are 6 over 6 pane sashes with stone cills, and the central window on the second floor is blind. The building has a cornice and a coped parapet. The rear elevation has not been seen. The interior was not inspected during the resurvey.
