Description
Cliff Lodge at Chepstow Racecourse is a two-storey building constructed from squared sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof. It is located adjacent to the A466 and has a blind rear wall, which previously included an arched doorway on the ground floor and two windows in slight arched recesses above, all of which are now blocked. The building has a hipped roof supported by paired eaves brackets and features two chimneys on the south wall. The south elevation includes one window on each floor, both with 2 + 2 casements. The rear elevation, which faces the racecourse, has two windows, both fitted with 3 over 3 pane sashes. The interior was not inspected during the resurvey.
