Description

Ty-ifor is a house built from squared coursed sandstone and topped with a Welsh slate roof. It features a two-storey symmetrical entrance that faces the road. The front has three large sash windows, each with 8 over 8 panes; the lower right-hand window has a lower cill, and all windows have horns except for the bottom left and the top centre. There is a replacement panelled door set in a fielded-panel recess, with a barred overlight above it and a stone hood supported by curved brackets. The house has somewhat projecting flat eaves and a hipped roof, with a large chimney stack on either end wall. A timber garage has been added to the right flank, and the gable walls are blind. The rear elevation has not been seen. The interior was not observed during the resurvey.
