Description
Ty'n-y-bryn is a two-storey building constructed of squared rubble and features a replaced slate roof with deep verges. It has four window bays, with a margin glazed door and an overlight located in the second bay from the east, set within a stop-chamfered frame. The windows include twelve-paned unhorned sash windows on the lower floor and nine-pane single sashes on the upper floor, all featuring yellow-grey slate lintels, likely sourced from Bryneglwys Quarry. The fourth bay, which is wider and has a gable stack, appears to replace a former in-line farm building and includes an attached lean-to at the pebbledashed west end. A commemorative plaque was affixed to the front wall in October 1988. The building was not inspected during the resurvey.
