Description
The Pigsty group at Nant-Caw-fawr is a building constructed from local rubble stone and topped with slate roofs. It features two short parallel blocks connected at the back by a lower roof that covers the pig sties. The block on the right seems to be used for feed preparation and includes a lean-to at the front, situated within a long rectangular walled yard. The left block appears to function as a workshop, which was once powered by a waterwheel located in a channel against the rear gable. This block has a boarded door in the gable end and a small paned window. There is a mid-wall opening at the rear that likely supported the bearing of the wheel. The two pig sties are arranged with an external gate leading to the run, and the wall of this run aligns with the gable of the workshop.
