The Vine Tree P.H.

The Vine Tree Public House is a three-storey building with a double depth central entry plan, originally dating from around 1600. It has a roughcast render with pebbledash that is now painted white, and a Welsh slate roof. The facade features four windows, with a narrow, panelled central door topped by a small pedimented hood. On the right side, there is a canted bay with sash windows, while the left side has three replacement 6 over 6 sash windows. The first floor has 6 over 6 pane sash windows, and the second floor features smaller windows with 2 + 2 pane casements. There is a wide gap between the windows in the center of the facade, and the roof has a low pitch with a stack at each gable.

The rear elevation is obscured by later additions, preventing any historic features from being visible. Inside, the rear range is timber framed and is said to incorporate crucks, although none were observed during the resurvey. The ground floor is box-framed and appears to date from around 1600, and there is also said to be some 18th-century panelling.
