Description

Nos. 12 and 14 Merthyr Road Revealed coursed rubble sandstone with red brick dressings, probably once rendered, natural slate roof with red brick stack. Double depth plan with doorways on the outside of the balanced pair. Three storeys, four windows to pair. Six-panel doors with 3-pane transom over door. Six over 6 pane sash beside door with narrower sashes on first and second floors, second floor ones with 3 over 6 panes. Hipped slate roof to pair with central stack set forward of the ridge. Retains the probably original low spiked wrought iron railings and gates.
