Description

The South African War Memorial, located in front of The Town Hall, is a commemorative structure. It features a tooled stone base and a round grey marble column that tapers from a plinth to a tiered cornice, topped with an urn. There is an incised inscription on the column that faces the street to the north. The memorial is set within a small enclosure surrounded by iron railings.
